What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember information between page views.
Which cookies does Canary Days set?
Only strictly necessary cookies, set by the site itself:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps your session working while you browse (for example, when you send the contact form or sign up for the newsletter) | Strictly necessary |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Security cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary |
These cookies contain no advertising or tracking identifiers and are not shared with third parties.
Why is there no cookie banner?
EU and Spanish rules require consent for cookies that are not essential to provide the service you ask for. Because Canary Days uses no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, no consent banner is needed.
Can third parties set cookies?
Some accommodation links and widgets use the Stay22 affiliate service, which leads to partners such as Booking.com. When you use those features or follow those links, the third party may set its own cookies under its own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control.
How can you control cookies?
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, forms on the site may not work. For more on how we handle personal data, see the privacy policy.
