Hotel San Roque

Hotel San Roque occupies a restored 18th-century manor house on Calle Esteban de Ponte, in the historic centre of Garachico. The building keeps the elements of traditional Canarian architecture — inner patios, carved wood, volcanic stone — and is furnished with contemporary art and design. Room types include doubles, duplexes, a duplex suite, a junior suite and Suite La Torre, which has its own mirador.

There is an outdoor swimming pool and terrace, and the hotel's Restaurante Anturium serves dinner daily from 19:00 to 23:00 with a seasonal à la carte menu (hours as published by the hotel in 2026). The hotel also sells themed getaway packages for two.

Location

Garachico lies on the north coast of Tenerife, about 52 km west of Santa Cruz, 50 km from Tenerife North airport and 67 km from Tenerife South. It was the island's main port until the eruption of Trevejo in May 1706 sent lava into the bay and partly destroyed the town, which is why the seafront today is a platform of black lava below a cliff of more than 500 m. From here the road west leads towards Buenavista and the mountain village of Masca, and Teide National Park is reached by climbing inland.
